Odyssey is an independent, coeducational middle school offering robust and challenging academics enhanced by our unique expeditionary learning program.

Situated on an idyllic, green, 3.5 acre campus in San Mateo, Odyssey provides a variety of learning spaces both indoors and outdoors with the goal of fostering an appreciation of nature and its complexity by our own experience.

We are small by design: total enrollment is limited to between 50 and 60 students. Our high staff-to-student ratio allows us to mentor each student and to fully support their growth, academic and personal, as they forge their way through the critical middle school years.​ ​
